Ticino – the sunny side of Switzerland!
Because of its mild climate, the most southern region of Switzerland is well known to go cycling early in the year. The rides around the lakes (Lago Maggiore, Lago di Lugano) are true classics.
But Ticino has way more to offer than just flat roads along the lakes. Countless small rugged roads, remote valleys, old villages with unique stone houses and neverending switchback roads with almost no traffic.
This rustic and mediterranean charme is what we want to show you!

At the end of every dead end road, we will wait with a sweet local speciality. As a reward and to fuel your legs.
Free Route
The five checkpoints are situated in very remote, beautiful areas of Ticino. Find your own way! All checkpoints are mandatory – but you choose the order and your best route. Try to create a fast, a versatile or the most spectacular route – it’s up to you.
Ticino has countless beautiful climbs with almost no traffic. Because of the mild climate we can ride up high already in april.
